We first started using EngraveBricks Ltd. in February 2003 to engrave a batch of 'In Memory' pavestones for high value donors. Having been let down by a previous supplier we were eager to find someone that could turn our order round as quickly as possible. Continuity was also important to us because the new pavestones had to look the same as the existing ones. EngraveBricks Ltd really came to our rescue; we found their service to be extremely reliable and reassuring. Our orders were dealt with quickly but without compromise to the finished pavestones. We certainly would be very happy to use their expertise on any projects that we undertake in the future and would highly recommend them.

engraved pavers

There are many tried and tested ways of raising funds for charities and worthy causes. Some people complete amazing personal feats such as climbing mountains, running marathons, swimming the channel or cycling from one end of the country to the other; some people organize charity fates, fairs, or sports days. All of these are some of the many great ways to raise funds for your charity. Another great way of fundraising is to involve local businesses in your charity and ask them to contribute. For example you could ask them to sponsor a new building, pathway or memorial made from engraved pavers. In return you could have their message, name or company logo displayed on the engraved pavers as a thank you to them for their contributions. You might also want to approach local businesses to sponsor an event for your charity or good cause; maybe they could sponsor a sports event or fun day? In return you they could have their company logo built into a wall or monument and displayed on engraved pavers as a thank you for their support.

school fundraising

Having been involved with the Parent Teacher Association at the local school for a number of years I know how difficult and time consuming school fundraising can be. Every year the PTA asks parents to help with fundraising and after the request came through this year it got a few of us thinking of new money making ideas but it seemed that everything that we thought of had been done before. One of the parents then suggested 'brick fundraising` where we could ask a parent or sponsor to buy a brick as part of a building project for the new school sports hall and IT centre. We could then recognise sponsors who make considerable contributions by adding their name, company logo or message to the brickwork of the construction project in recognition of their support to the school fundraising campaign.. There are also a number of construction companies out there who specialise in this sort of school fundraising project and they will engrave bricks, plaques and paving with the names of sponsors or donors. This would be a great way of attracting larger donations.

engraved paving

Have you thought about the different ways you could raise funds for your local charity, school, sports club or society? A fun, popular and rewarding method of generating money is by selling personalised bricks for use in a wall or walkway. Each individual brick can be personalised with a name or message then sold in order to help generate funds. You could have engraved paving added to the main walkway into your player`s lounge displaying all the names of team members past and present. Maybe you could think of a specific theme for your fund raising project such as 'help the heroes` or 'building a better future` and an engraved paving design could be based around that. Engraved paving could also be added the main entrance in the school reception or assembly hall and could list all the names of the pupils and their leaving date.
